This video addresses the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just before Thotar provides you with a taming Rod for your Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will give you a series of 3 taming rods, each one is different and enables you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and finally an Armored Scorpid.

When you taming rod surf crawler have accomplished the taming Component of The search chain, you must head to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot from the Valley of Honor so as to unlock your companion pet handling abilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.
